Here’s some Pick and Mix ideas fresh from The Open Door ideas garden!

Nutrition

Build up to eat natural unprocessed foods 80% of the time

Aim to filling only the centre of the plate

½ vegetables, ¼ meat, ¼ Low GI grains (wholegrain rice/quinoa/couscous)

Make healthy eating convenient, keep healthy snacks close at hand.

Where possible, keep treats away from easily accessable places. i.e. out of sight, out of the office and out of the kitchen cupboards

Relaxation

Sleep 7 – 9 hrs per night

Enjoy a relaxation activity 15 mins every day

Exercise

Walk for 30 minutes every day

Participate in 2 – 3 activities most weeks

Progress

Push your limits! Try something new every year
